The Anatomy of a Perfect Shoulder Seam

A garment is judged first by how it sits on the shoulder. Before fabric, before colour, the shoulder seam decides whether a piece looks considered or careless.

In our atelier, every shoulder is cut on the bias, pressed by hand, and checked against the body twice before a single stitch is set. It is slow work. It is also the difference between something that merely fits and something that is made for you.
